When I expanded my collection from textiles to furniture the common thread between the lines was my appreciation for raw materials. I had not considered offering marble and stones until I was introduced to Lithos Design. This family run business combines marble from their private quarry with water-cut designs to create a product that is both beautiful and durable for walls, room dividers and back-lit designs.
Lithos Design is today a symbol of exclusive high-design marble products, born from a passion for natural matter, expertise and cultural sensitivity. The company was one of the first to introduce the concept of lithic industrial design in marble working, combining the fascinating uniqueness of stone with series production. The result is a suggestive and entirely new form of beauty created by the combination of surprising grains and colours with exclusive and elegant forms.
