Rubelli
One of my first encounters with Rubelli was a visual presentation seeing their beautiful Venetian brocade draped on men riding camels through the Saudi Arabian desert. It was the vision of then designer Paul Bidault who understood that this brand had something truly special. The colors: so rich and intense. That gold…absolutely gorgeous. Five generations in, and building on decades of Alessandro Favaretto Rubelli’s unwavering vision and determination, Rubelli’s heritage has found its match in the calibre of designer talent which son Nicolò Rubelli now calls upon for fresh perspectives.
There's so much depth at the core of what they do. The yarns themselves are beyond rich: even with a plain fabric, there’s a luster that they bring to the table. It's unbelievable. They never stray from the quality they’ve come to be known for.
