Aïda is my secret. Under the radar and highly selective about who she works with, her story is extraordinary. Growing up in Mali, she watched women spin yarn and men weave it on looms slung around their necks during breaks in the fields. She yearned to expand her horizons and discover how other cultures wove fabric, and so began her travels. Now based out of Paris, she has trained her own team of weavers and continues to tour the world in search of the finest yarns. By transforming raw material into fabrics whose subtlety reveals itself only when touched, she has earned a loyal following among the most discerning architects and interior designers in our industry.
